Do you have a dui conviction and restrictions apply to all states?
My brother just got his second dui conviction within 12 months in Virginia. In addition to a short jail sentence, his Virginia driver's license has been suspended for 4 years. To help avoid this, the brother is thinking of moving to Florida or Georgia, and obtaining a new license there. Does being able to do this? Are the conditions of a DUI conviction in one state apply to all states U.S.? Does Florida, Georgia or DMV records to verify driver's licenses before my brother applied for a first time – license?
Your brother have to lie and say they never had a driver's license anywhere else (be asked). If not passed immediately, the odds are overwhelming that it will reach over time.
