DUI someone who knows about children?
Ok so my BF has a DUI .. we live in California and his license was suspended for 1 year probation for 3 years. Only the other day he got in an accident on the way to work and called the police and made a report. The police released him and confiscated his car for 30 days. Has Court on 30 October. Do you think it will be aa jail .. if so how long? if not .. what will be the consequences? that is 19 years old .. you have to go to AA classes and doing community service from now on. thanks [= was on his driver's license suspended with DUI. When went to court for DUI the privelages asked to go to and from work, but the judge did not grant it.
Based on my reading of the AC of law, is on some issues, but not much like it was the second DUI incident. Depending on the actual costs, could face up: 3 years loss of license. And if it leads back to the suspension will be very bad. To (not likely) 30 days in jail (can be served on weekends). A felony conviction on his history (shown in background checks) a very hefty fine (I could not calculate the maximum) from seizure of their car. Again, this is the worst, the most likely scenario is part of all or some of them. His final suspension will be extended as probation.
